  • What is AI?
    AI is an acronym for Artificial Intelligence. Simply put, it is a simulated or replica of human intelligence using machines and computers. AI is very powerful because it enables us to focus on looking forward into the future while machines look after and solve existing issues.   • Can I cancel any time?
    We would be sorry to hear you leave, but we will make it as simple as possible should you decide to leave. You can cancel by sending an email with your intent. The email must be sent using the managing email account for the service. You will need to provide one month's notice period. For example, if you cancel on January 1st or January 25th, your service will stop functioning on February 28th (i.e. at the end of the following month).   • I have questions on the AI service I purchased. Who do I speak to?
    Here at Caller AI we pride ourselves in being a technology company first. That's why you will have access to a dedicated Caller AI Relationship Manager. Your Relationship Manager will be on hand to answer any questions, concerns, problems, etc that you have. All Relationship Managers have committed to responding within 24 hours of an incoming message, and will work hard to either answer or source an answer for you as soon as possible. Any questions?   • Can I use the number provided for my customers?
    Caller AI can secure a range of Freephone and Local Geographic numbers for you to choose from. Once activated, any call to your chosen number will be answered by your Caller AI Agent, and call transfers (optional extra) will come from this number so that you can identify the incoming transfer quickly.
  • Can I divert my calls to you whenever I'd like?
    Yes, you can divert your calls to your Caller AI Agent whenever you'd like.
  • How are notifications sent to me?
    Whenever a message is left from an incoming call, an email notification is sent with the caller's number and a recording of the message they left. SMS Text messages can be sent for an additional 10p per call.
  • Are calls answered in my company's name?
    Absolutely! As part of your account setup, we encode both bespoke greetings and frequently asked queries into your Caller AI Agent. Your customers will receive a top-rated customer services experience from your Caller AI Agent.
  • Can my Caller AI Agent take calls at short notice or out of hours?
    Yes, your Caller AI Agent is always ready to take calls, answer customer queries, take messages and, where appropriate, transfer calls.
  • Is the service based in the UK as well as other countries?
    Your Caller AI Agent is a cloud-based, conversational AI with compute processing in the UK only at this time. Call forwarding is also only available to UK mobile and landline numbers.
  • Can you take more than one call at a time?
    With all of our calling plans, your personalised Caller AI Agent can handle dozens of concurrent incoming calls at a time. We're confident our AI Agents will cope with whatever load is required.   • How long will my customers have to wait for a call to be picked up?
    All calls taken by your Caller AI Agent will be picked up almost immediately, regardless of the number of calls coming in at the same time. Your Caller AI Agent is an advanced artificial intelligence that is able to manage dozens of ongoing calls simultaneously while at the same time ensuring excellent customer service without delay to each one.
  • Is there a minimum contract period?
    No, there is no minimum contract period. You only pay for call minutes purchased through the package selected for your Caller AI Agent with at least one month's notice for cancellation. Please note that some additional services are chargeable, including incoming call minutes over your allowance, call forwarding minutes and non-geographic numbers.
  • What is your Schedule of Charges?
    Caller AI Schedule of Charge Effective starting: April 6, 2023 All charges exclude the prevailing rate of VAT - currently 20% Monthly Charges (if applicable): - £3.50 For paper billing to cover printing and posting costs. eBilling is the default and is free of charge. - £1.99 Itemised billing: per bill Ad-hoc Charges (if applicable): - £5.00 To remove inbound call restrictions placed due to late payment. - £10.00 To reinstate services suspended due to late/non-payment. - £10.00 If you have cancelled your Direct Debit instruction. - £40.00 To reinstate lines ceased due to non-payment - £80.00 Debt recovery charge for invoices outstanding 35 days after the invoice date.   • How long is my contract for?
    When you agree to sign up for a Caller AI plan, you sign up for a monthly ongoing contract.
  • What is your refund / cancellation policy?
    Cancellation within the Free Trial period or during your first month of service If you wish to cancel either during the Free Trial period or during your first month of service, we will provide a full 'no quibble' full refund of any fees paid. There will be no additional charges. If it's not for you, it's not for you! Cancellation after your first month If you've enjoyed our Free Trial and the first month of paid service, any cancellations thereafter must be provided from the official email address that is on account, and must provide one full month's notice. For example, if you sign up January 1st, your Free Trial will be up to January 14th. Your first month will start from January 15th to February 15th. Any cancellation up to February 15th and we will give you a full refund. However, any cancellation request from February 15th onwards (i.e. from your second billing cycle) will require one full month's notice period (i.e. one billing cycle). In this example, a cancellation between February 15th to March 15th would require payment up to and including the following month, to April 15th (i.e. one full month's notice, one billing cycle).   • When will I be billed?
    You will be billed 14 days from the day you subscribe to one of the Caller AI pricing plan. This will be the start of your regular billing period. If you still have any questions or require clarification, please contact us at support@caller-ai.com.
  • What happens if I don't pay my bill?
    If we do not receive a payment by your billing date, we will apply a £5.00 administration fee to your account. While we try to contact you for payment, your services may be restricted until a payment is made. This means that incoming calls may not be answered by your AI Agent. Once your bill is paid, it can take up to 24 hours for your services to get back to normal. If your account remains unpaid, we may disconnect the service and contact a Debt Collection Agency. Reconnection at this stage will incur further charges which will need to be settled alongside any outstanding charges on your account.
  • What is Itemised Billing and much does it cost?
    Itemised billing is a detailed list of all incoming calls to your account, along with their costs. It provides insight into individual calls and allows you to query on individual calls. Without itemised billing, you won't have access to this level of detail. The cost of itemised billing is £1.99 + VAT per month.
  • What happens during the Free Trial period?
    During the Free Trial period we build and train your AI Agent with information about your business, your industry and we test its responses to ensure it is ready to take customer calls. Within a few days of registering for the service, we will confirm your new telephone number and confirm the readiness of your AI customer services agent.
